Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 30, 2026

1. Who we are

BonaFide is operated by Relocate Legal PLLC ("we", "us", "our"), a professional limited liability company. By using the BonaFide service (the "Service") you are entering into an agreement with Relocate Legal PLLC.

BonaFide is a software product. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship with Relocate Legal PLLC. If you need legal advice about your immigration matter, consult a licensed attorney.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You also confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind it).

3. What the Service does

BonaFide lets you upload evidence (photos, documents, screenshots, PDFs), organize it by category, and compile it into a designed PDF / image binder you can download for your own use, including filing with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or another agency.

Output formatting is a presentation aid. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency of anything you submit to any government agency.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@relocatelegal.com of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the Service;
  • scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output to third parties as a paid product;
  • use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the evidence and content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Relocate Legal PLLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, generating thumbnails and the compiled PDF). We do not sell Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

If you work with an attorney through BonaFide (for example, by accepting an invitation), Your Content in that case is shared with that attorney.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design templates, typography choices, visual identity, and the BonaFide name and logo, is owned by Relocate Legal PLLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal or professional matter, within the plan you have selected. All other rights are reserved.

8. Plans, payment, and Paddle

We offer one-time and subscription plans. Prices, features, and case limits are described on our pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.Payment, billing, taxes, currency conversion, invoices, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not generate a refund for the current period unless our Refund Policy says so.

9. Free trials

Solo and Practice plans include a 7-day free trial. During the trial, exports are watermarked "TRIAL — NOT FOR FILING". If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged and the plan begins.

10. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. We may also discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable wind-down period; you may export your binder before that period ends.

12. No professional advice; no warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any compiled binder will be accepted by USCIS or any other authority.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Relocate Legal PLLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Relocate Legal PLLC against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Relocate Legal PLLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
